Production Operator X2 - Pay: £24,000.00 per year
Day Shift 8.30am - 5.00pm (60 min lunch & 2 x 10 minute breaks). Monday to Friday
Evening Shift 3pm - 10pm (30 min lunch & 2 x 10 minute breaks). Monday to Friday
The Company
Market leader in the production of branded confectionery for promotional campaigns, events, and product launches. They design, print & cut, finish, assemble, pack, and distribute everything in-house in Leighton Buzzard. They make multiple different chocolate products including bars, truffles, and hollow figures.
Production Operator
As a key member, you will be one of the production operators working as part of a close-knit team at our chocolate factory creating our very own range of products.
Duties will include:
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Complete daily start up checks
- Set up machines for the particular product being made
- Monitoring the machines to ensure optimum running
- Ensure that the line runs according to assigned production quantity and speed
- Inspection of products and fault finding
- Check and adjust product weight to meet specifications
- Maintain machines as a team with the Technical Manager & Production Supervisor.
- To understand and to be able to effectively run multiple chocolate machinery.
