A global manufacturing engineering company are looking to recruit an experienced Production Engineer to streamline processes and reduce waste in the production cycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible overtime dependent on company requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Creating prototypes and models using software design tools
- Researching and developing more efficient ideas for new and existing product lines
- Carrying out tests on new products to assure quality, usability, and efficiency.
- Collaborating with clients, external vendors, and sub-contractors
- Preparing and delivering new guidelines company wide
Knowledge and Experience
- Must have experience in a similar role ideally within an automotive manufacturing company
- Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, PLC Programming, and automated equipment such as robots
- HND/Degree preferably Electrical Engineering
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT systems including Microsoft Office packages AutoCAD & SolidWorks
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of using formulas within Excel
- Good understanding of manufacturing production and processes
