Pin-Point are currently recruiting for a Direct Mail Manager to join a manufacturing company based in Rotherham. You will be joining the the UK's largest direct mail producer. The DMC (Document Management Centre) is a dedicated mailroom facility handling low volume outbound mailing activity for a regulated financial services business.   

As a Direct Mail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the order fulfilment process to ensure that letters are transferred, processed, and mailed in an accurate and efficient manner in line with client SLAs. The Direct Mail Manager will work closely with various departments to build strategic relationships with the client and improve overall performance and satisfaction.

Fulfilment manager Role:

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of letter fulfilment process.
  • Using software such as DOCQ ( Doc management system)
  • Day-to-day queries and any service escalations
  • Proactively manage the fulfilment team to always deliver a high level of quality
  • Resource planning to ensure OTIF is achieved
  • Staff recruitment, appraisals, and onboarding, Recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard new employees
  • Document processes to provide robust QC procedures to support quality compliance
  • Stock management and forecasting to ensure all packs issued with the correct literature
  • Attending client review calls where required
  • Reporting on success, issues, continuous improvement, and possible efficiencies in the department

Skills Required:

  • Experience overseeing the training and development of the warehouse team
  • Experience prioritising and delegating workload to ensure a balanced approach to reacting to incoming requests.
  • Experience doing HR duties: Recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard new employees.
  • Take responsibility for own development, actively seeking opportunities for self-improvement.
