Permanent Design Change Coordinator

Location: Sunderland, Tyne & Wear

Salary: Circa £35,000

Our client, is seeking a Design Change Coordinator for a permanent staff position. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Taking responsibility for data management during both new & current model change control.
• Creating BOM structures for new and existing products.
• Managing the distribution of 3D CAD.
• Creating parts lists from RFQs.
• Generating Work Instructions.
• Supporting new model introduction activities.
• Assisting in VA/VE cost reduction activities.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• Self-motivation with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Understanding of BOM and part structures.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, with essential Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer/supplier locations for technical discussions.
• Experience using NX and/or Catia V5 is a beneficial asset.
