Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver cost management services throughout all project stages
- Prepare and manage cost plans, estimates, and budgets
- Lead on procurement strategies and tender documentation
- Administer contracts (NEC, JCT) and manage commercial risk
- Undertake valuations, cost reporting, and change control
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and design teams
- Support or lead preparation of final accounts and project close-outs
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management
Requirements
Essential:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Chartered (MRICS) or progressing towards chartership
- Proven experience in a consultancy or client-side QS role
- Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Excel, cost planning tools)
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience working across a variety of sectors
- Confidence managing client relationships independently
- Mentoring experience or interest in supporting junior team members
