Vehicle Service Fitter
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £30,000 + Monthly Bonus Scheme
Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Holidays: 32 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
An established business is looking for a hands-on Vehicle Service Fitter to join their busy workshop. The role involves fitting towbars, servicing and repairing trailers, and maintaining the company’s hire fleet.

The Job
- Fit towbars to customer vehicles efficiently and safely
- Service and repair customer trailers
- Maintain and service the company’s hire trailer fleet
- Keep accurate service and maintenance records
- Assemble and modify trailers as required
- Diagnose faults and provide technical advice
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and deadlines
About You
- Experience in vehicle fitting, trailer servicing, or general mechanical/automotive work
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Full, valid UK driving licence
