Stores Operative
Location: Middlesbrough TS6
Contract Temporary (long term), leading to a permanent position
Rate £13.00 per hour
Shifts Dayshift; Monday to Friday, 39 hours a week
An experienced Storekeeper/Stores Operative is required to join an engineering company at their facility in Middlesbrough (TS6).
Working as part of the stores team, you will be involved in the setting up and running of the engineering stores department.
Main tasks will include:
- Handling of stores stock Incoming/outgoing/deliveries,
- Booking stock into SAP system
- Handling reservations from plant operatives
- Maintaining inventory of engineering materials
You will have the following:
- A reliable and positive attitude towards teamwork
- Previous warehouse/storekeeper experience, preferably within an engineering stores environment
- FLT License would be beneficial
- Material control experience
- Full UK driving licence – you will have to regularly drive to another local site as part of your duties.
