Project Manager
- Location: Sunderland
- Salary: £55,000 per annum
Working with a world leading company on projects in a wide range of industries including automotive, packaging and aerospace etc. You will support a range of mechanical and electrical engineering projects.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the day-to-day business operations across major projects
- Planning, control and monitoring, both internally and directly with customers, of projects from quotation to contract completion.
- Produce quotes and undertake estimating for projects
- Report on contract performance, ensuring all potential opportunities, variations and risks are identified and reported
- Support the General Manager, UK with the business planning and budgeting process for the region/business unit.
- Act as line manager for allocated project engineers/managers and the site-based operations team.
What you will bring to the team
- Experience of managing capex project teams
- Experience of negotiating and agreeing contract costs and variations with customers.
- Knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical contracting
- Ability to present and explain technical concepts
- Experience of using Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and industry recognised project management tools for tracking, analysis, business documents, presentations etc.
