Pin Point Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our esteemed client in the manufacturing sector.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance, particularly within an automotive or manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal to ensuring the smooth operation of production lines through efficient maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day planned and reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime.
• Conduct routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Check and maintain safety equipment including fire alarms and emergency stop systems.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and utilize preventative maintenance software.
• Prepare reports for the Maintenance Supervisor and Team Leader to prevent future issues.
• Respond swiftly to reports of equipment malfunctions and execute emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with external specialists and contractors as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Min. NVQ Level 3 maintenance/engineering qualification.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities in problem situations.
• Preferred:
  • Experience in a chemical process environment.
  • Knowledge of PLC Siemens S7 and ABB Robotics.
  • IOSH qualification.
