A talented Key Account Manager is wanted to join the Client Services team of a leading global outsourcing business.

Based at their flagship facility in Sunderland, you will manage and develop a close working relationship with various key accounts, ensuring all customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest standard.

Your Experience

  • Proven background in account management, B2B customer success or client relationship development
  • A background working with a blue-chip client base would be beneficial, but not essential
  • This is not a sales position - your key strengths will revolve around managing customer requirements/expectations, and balancing this with internal service delivery capabilities.
  • Self-starter with a personal passion for achieving goals
  • Interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels
  • You will be a proficient IT user with a good standard of literacy & numeracy – customers are typically from financial services, so accuracy & attention to detail are paramount
  • Typical traits of our successful Key Account Managers: self-starter, dynamic, resilient, ambitious, attentive, emotionally intelligent

The Job

  • You’ll build and maintain strong and positive relationships with existing clients and key personalities within the company
  • Managing the retention, expansion and overall satisfaction of your client base will be fundamental to your role
  • You will serve as a focal point of contact for client challenges, responsible for overseeing the plan of action to resolve those issues
  • Working closely with (and potentially leading) other KAMs and admin support to ensure a first class, accurate back office process
