We’re looking for a commercially focused Financial Controller to join a growing manufacturing SME and play a key role on the Senior Leadership Team.
This isn’t just a reporting role. You’ll partner with the MD, drive profitability, strengthen financial governance, and lead a small, capable finance team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the finance function end-to-end
- Drive manufacturing costing & margin performance
- Oversee monthly reporting, statutory accounts & VAT
- Manage cashflow forecasting & invoice finance
- Develop and mentor a Finance Business Partner & Assistant
What we’re looking for:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or QBE)
- 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing or stock-led environments
- Strong standard costing & absorption knowledge
- Advanced Excel & ERP skills (SAGE a bonus)
- Hands-on, commercially sharp, sleeves-rolled-up mindset
