Business Development Manager – Electrical

A Business Development Manager with a background in electrical construction is required to join an established engineering company based in Co. Durham.
Utilising your experience working in a driven business development/sales environment, your role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, ensuring that the customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Experience within the electrical service industry is a must
- Proven background in sales, business development or account management
- Established network/contacts within Electrical, Engineering or Construction industries
- Commercially astute with the ability to communicate reasoning behind pricing recommendations
- Confidence and composure to work with people at all levels
- Driving Licence – you’ll be required to visit current and prospective customers
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating leads and build long-term relationships to ensure customer conversion
- Promoting the company’s products & services, addressing or predicting potential objections
- Marketing the full range of new & existing services into our current customer base
- Arrange and attend regular client meetings, both in person and remotely
