Purchasing Administrator
- Newcastle upon Tyne
- Full time, office based, 37.5 hours a week
- Initial 12 month contract; potential for permanent
- Up to £25,000 per year
A Purchasing Administrator is wanted to join a leading engineering employer in the North East.
Based in the office (located on the banks of the River Tyne), you will support a busy Procurement department from an administration standpoint.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Experience within engineering / procurement / purchasing is essential
- Commercial awareness
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills – the majority of work is processed on Excel

What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the main administrative support for a busy procurement department, processing Purchase Orders, RFQs and supplier paperwork
- Database input and maintenance
- Manage the internal distribution process of key documentation between departments
- Procurement data cleansing
