Stores Person

- £24,960 + overtime (when available) + sales bonus

- 8am – 5pm
One of the UKs largest crane and lifting solutions providers are currently seeking a motivated Store Person to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, stock control and maintaining the overall organisation within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy between physical stock and warehouse management systems.
- Track stock movements and maintain accurate records of stock receipts, inventory usage, and orders shipped.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and assist in the procurement process.
- Use warehouse management software and tools to track inventory and optimise storage solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse stock control or goods inward environment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Forklift certification is desirable but not essential
- Full, clean drivers’ licence is essential
