Now, they’re looking for someone who’s just as comfortable creating a great Instagram post as they are picking up the phone to speak to new customers.

Social Media & Sales Specialist Job Role:
- This role is a 50/50 blend of social media marketing and sales outreach. Here’s what that looks like day-to-day:
On the Social Media Side:
- Creating fun, engaging content that shows off what the business does, from product features to behind-the-scenes stories
- Running the social media calendar and making sure the brand stays active and relevant on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Replying to messages and comments, and turning curious followers into real conversations
- Coming up with simple campaigns to help boost interest and reach new people
- Tracking what works (and what doesn’t), so we’re always improving
On the Sales Side:
- Contact any leads that are given – gathering further information
- Making outbound calls to people and businesses who might be interested
- Following up with enquiries from social media or previous marketing campaigns
- Having friendly, confident conversations that introduce the product and build interest
- Keeping the CRM up to date so the business know who has been spoken to and what they need
- Working to realistic, motivating weekly targets for calls, leads, and conversions
Social Media & Sales Specialist Skills Required:
- Have 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, marketing, or a bit of everything
- Enjoy talking to people and building relationships, whether in person, online or on the phone
- Know your way around Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and can make content that connects
- Are organised and can manage your time well
- Like hitting goals and feeling good about your wins
- Live near Colchester or can easily commute to the office
