Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their Subsea company. With success, this role will offer an attractive salary of up to 40,000. The right candidate should possess a sound knowledge of the principles of project engineering.
Job description
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in an engineering environment.
- Define, plan and optimize project schedules.
- Develop the project budget and ensure that it is under control at all stages of the project.
- Develop project management plans and ensure that these plans meet the client’s demands and objectives.
- Manage subcontractors and resources to make sure that project tasks are delegated and aimed to obtain the required level of quality.
- Identify project risks, issues, and opportunities and take actions/make decisions to resolve them.
- Review and approve project documents such as designs, drawings, procedures, quotations and technical reports.
- Monitor and report the project progress to the management.
- Identify deviations from the project plan and proposing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor degree in engineering.
- Minimum 5 year in Project engineer position.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in software applications (MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to think innovatively.
- Exceptional teamwork and organizational skills.
