Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

A large manufacturing company are looking for a technician to join their maintenance team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to technical issues affecting production and maintaining mechanical & electrical machinery.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Provide immediate support in the event of breakdowns.
- Proactively work to reduce machine downtime.
- Servicing, maintenance, and improvement of electrical & mechanical equipment
- Experience of fault finding on PLC systems
- Experience of maintaining and interrogating Drive systems
- Maintaining production & assembly equipment such as robots and hydraulic equipment.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in a maintenance role within a busy manufacturing company ideally Automotive.
- Work and liaise with a range of internal departments and external suppliers.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, environment, and quality management system.
- Work within 5S methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard.
- HNC/NVQ Level 3 Qualification in engineering discipline ideally Electrical
- Time served & holding an 18th Edition (Desirable)
- Previous experience operating plant equipment i.e. FLT & Overhead Crane etc
