Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Newton Aycliffe
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a wide range of designs from concept to completion. You will be involved in design, prototyping and testing.
The Job:
- Using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and sketching to provide conceptual and detailed designs.
- Analysis of mechanical systems using hand calculations and non-linear FEA with ANSYS.
- Evaluating the performance of designs using FMEA.
- Leading design reviews, ensuring designs meet specifications.
- Supporting project delivery with client
- Client meetings, presenting technical aspects of the project delivery.
What you will bring to the team:
- Experienced Design Engineer
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Experienced with product development, design, and structural analysis.
- Autodesk Inventor or similar
- Mathcad and/or Excel for engineering calculations
- Experience of ANSYS.
