HSE Advisor

HSE Advisor (Health, Safety and Environmental)

• Permanent

• Full time, on site Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

• Sunderland

• Up to £40,000pa depending upon experience and qualifications.

We are working with a world class manufacturer in Sunderland who require an experienced and qualified HSE Advisor to join a long serving team.

Role objectives:

• Support working towards 14001 standard accreditation

• Deliver a 10% reduction in accidents

• Be key in the carbon and energy reduction project

• Deliver the office ergonomics plan

• Key in audits

• Waste packing submission and reduction

• Deliver HSE improvement

• Risk assessment support and coordination

• Assess site security and monitor regularly

• Provide EHS guidance

• Tool box talks

You will need:

• NEBOSH certification

• Experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing or production environment

• Experience working win a fast paced environment

• A continuous improvement mindset

• Excellent IT skills

• Be able to communicate at all levels

• Full drivers licence

• Safety engineering background

• Auditor skills
