Electrical Maintenance Technician
An international manufacturing company are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their Engineering Team on a permanent basis. The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery, running diagnostic tests, and updating all service and repair records.
The Role and Responsibilities

To develop and implement electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.

Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs

Using route cause analysis to eliminate any faults/breakdowns.

To Monitor the availability of parts and replenishing supplies

Developing and using SOP’s to carry out training for co-workers on the safe and efficient use of electrical machinery and equipment.

Complying with Health and Safety Environment Policies
-
Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations
-
Installing new equipment and upgrading existing equipment to meet production demands.
Knowledge and Experience
-
Time served with at least two years’ experience as an Electrical Technician in a similar COMAH environment.

HNC in Electrical Engineering
-
Must be able to work continental shifts

Siemens PLC (Step 7)
-
Experience working with various voltages – AC and DC.
-
Must be able to read electrical diagrams and drawings.

The ability to work on own initiative and able to liaise with other departments at all levels.

Excellent Communication Skills
-
Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
-
Must be focused on continuous improvement with a safety mind set.
