A large manufacturer with multiple international operations is on the lookout for an Assistant Supervisor to join their skilled Ultrasonic testing Quality Assurance department.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting the ultrasonic/ tear down staff.
- Supporting with internal quality issues and logging incident through to completion.
- Liaising with customers to identify issues around quality and support with investigation of issues.
- Supporting engineers with the development of new products and material testing.
- Training & supporting new staff.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience of working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- A good understanding of Root Cause Analysis, auditing, and measurement of products and the importance of quality assurance within a production process
- Experience within an Ultrasonic testing role (is preferred)
- Prior experience doing NDT testing.
