Area Sales Manager
- Remote, covering east of England from Lincolnshire, to North London, and East Anglia
- Up to £50,000 a year basic salary
- Excellent uncapped bonus (realistic £100K OTE once established) + access to a group shareholder scheme
- Company car or car allowance – your choice
One of the UK’s largest packaging distribution specialists is searching for a driven Area Sales Manager to join their business on a full-time permanent basis.
Your role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, taking the customer on their journey ensuring their requirements are fulfilled to the highest standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- An established background in strategic sales / business development
- Print or packaging experience is preferable but not essential
- What is essential is your established business network within the food production industry
- A dynamic and influential personality; someone who enjoys seeking out new opportunities, and challenges
- The ability to provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to new sales associates
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating leads and build long-term relationships to ensure customer conversion
- Promoting the company’s products & services by addressing/ predicting potential objections
- Marketing the full range of new & existing services into our current customer base
- Arrange and attend regular client meetings, both in person and remotely
- Align sales efforts by communicating and collaborating across the other areas of the business, such as key account managers, sales department and the technical team
The role will involve you travelling on a regular basis, including occasional overnight stays where required.
